Biography
Randi Danforth has an archaeology BA from Yale and has worked for the Cotsen since 2013. Before that she was an editor at the American University in Cairo Press, in Cairo. She has edited large volumes on American regional food, and on conservation projects in archaeology for the American Research Center in Egypt. She was an editor, producer, and writer at Bon Appétit magazine for over twenty years. At Cotsen, she runs the CIoA Press, overseeing the production of all the publications, including Backdirt.
